Happy New Moon in Leo! Love and freedom rule this New Moon in playful and upbeat Leo! Ruling the 5th House in Astrology, Leo in our chart represents our freedom of self-expression, creativity, playfulness, and confidence. With the Sun and Jupiter here, the New Moon marks a time when we can no longer be anyone but our truest and most authentic self! Not only because we want to, but because we feel that we need to. Otherwise we'd feel like we are betraying our heart and soul. It's a truly cathartic time for many of us, a time when we can finally open our heart to more people in our life. The Leo sign represents true expression of the heart, so there's really no better time to express our appreciation than this New Moon!
Speaking of creativity, how can we express our self in a more honest and direct way now? How can we feel more comfortable in sharing our truest hopes and dreams with people around us? The Moon in Leo will later trine Retrograde Uranus in Aries, which means that we can finally discover new and more creative ways to break free from our old ways of doing things, or thinking about things. What used to be okay for us may no longer fit our new perspective on life and relationships. We expect nothing but the real and authentic from our interactions, and we'll be able to see how we can bring about more love and honesty into our life. Creative imagination and inspiration surround us when we see the world with open heart and childlike eyes.
Mercury in Cancer is trining Saturn which is now moving direct in Scorpio (after his 5 month retrograde in the sign). We have the mental and emotional capabilities to stay strong, grounded, and responsible. No matter what new obstacles may appear on our path, we will see that we are indeed stronger than we have ever been before. We have evolved so much in the past couple of years, and we can now understand that with stronger and more positive mental vision we can deal with whatever problems/lessons life may throw in the future.
It's time for another journey of self-discovery! To have more faith in our new confidence + spirit, and to keep exploring new roads. Ones that we trust and believe will eventually take us to the destination that we've been searching for. Keep evolving and continue moving forward!
