School of Umpiring

Register now and be qualified to GET PAID to be a part of the excitement of local youth sports and make a difference in your income. We have an umpire friendly environment - Parents and Coaches are not allowed to yell/scream at the umps!
Once you finish umpire school, the work is fun-filled and financially rewarding!

If you are a reliable and responsible individual and enjoy sports, we employ baseball and softball umpires for weekend duty.  We cover baseball and softball ages 8 through 18.
Our umps make between $400 and $700 per weekend!

Training Dates & Venues

Classes start Sunday, February 16th, Chicago and Sunday, March 8th, Milwaukee and will run for three straight Sundays.
There is no upfront charge for the training. You pay only after you have made $2,000 a fee of $100 one time.

Everyone who completes our training course will be on their way to making from $1200 -$2800 per month! You work only on weekends!  And any weekend you can't work is acceptable.

Welcome to the 1Ten Sports

1Ten operates in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio,  and Wisconsin, providing umpires for tournament games in those regions. We do ages 8-18 Travel Baseball and Softball. We have a proven track record of success. Our officials are reliable, hard-working, and approachable, and bring extensive rules and mechanics knowledge to the field.


1Ten Sports began operating in the Metro Chicago area with the goal of providing great officiating to travel baseball teams and their tournament host.

Gil Thompson understood the need for good officials and so decided to start 1 Ten Sports. In the spring of 2005, the initial group of 40 officials was formed and began working games.

1Ten has expanded in the past 12 years to include 200 members and is looking to continue that growth as we are now working games in Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Illinois. Michigan and Ohio.
