Join us in honoring Nadine and Richard Herz, the 2018 Library Legacy Award honorees, for their gracious support of the Kenosha Public Library at the historic Simmons Library.

Doors open at 6:00 PM for our guests. The awards presentation will begin at 7:00 PM.



Come enjoy hand-passed appetizers and explore the new handicapped accessible children's bookmobile, which will be on display. The new bookmobile will allow Kenosha Public Library to expand their services to children and adults in the community who may normally experience obstacles getting to the library.

MORE ABOUT THE EVENING'S FESTIVITIES:
Ron Story will be signing and stamping copies of his book "The Library in the Park". All proceeds of the book benefit the Simmons Public Library.



Library staff member and historian of Simmons Public Library, Ed Godula will be on hand to share the history of Simmons Public Library with our guests. Architectural artifacts will be featured!



Richard Embach Jazz Trio will be providing music and ambiance for the evening. We have a raffle with some very exciting items including Blackhawks Tickets, a Vera Bradley handbag, and much much more. At the conclusion of the award presentation, there will be a paddle raise to fill the accessible bookmobile for the Kenosha community.



The brand new empty bookmobile will be present for guests to tour and see just how much a library on wheels impacts the community.



Our event will conclude with raffle drawings at 8:45 PM.
