Application of Technology in an Urban Environment

Business Conference as part of Hutt STEMM Festival 2018

The emphasis of this conference is on connecting relevant people and creating the potential for future commercial collaborations. The sessions are designed to encourage greater sharing of business opportunities in the region.

The goals for the event are:

- To give local businesses a better understanding of exponential technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, and autonomous vehicles so they can begin to understand the implications for them.
- To give local entrepreneurs and researchers the opportunity to present new or under-development building and transport technology solutions of interest to other businesses.
- To connect local businesses and research organisations to increase awareness of local commercial STEMM (science, technology engineering, mathematics and manufacturing) capabilities.
- To give businesses the opportunity to discuss challenges they face and to find local support and resources to resolve them.
