May 11: Introduction to Boyds Mills Net Positive Project by the Highlights Foundation

Join us to learn about the sustainability initiatives the Highlights Foundation is advancing at their retreat center in Boyds Mills. In December 2020, the Highlights Foundation, with assistance from SEEDS of Northeastern Pennsylvania, received a grant from the PA Energy Development Authority . This grant includes funding for:

· 105kw solar garden
· 23 mini-split heat/air conditioning units (one per cabin)
· Spray foam insulation
· Energy monitoring system
· Educational opportunities

SEEDS has been an important part of this partnership and is excited to provide this overview of the project. Please join us via Zoom on May 11 at 8pm ET. For more details, contact olga@seedsgroup.net.
