Planting Demonstration and Tree Giveaway*
Come join us for a fun and educational event at Two Rivers Park! Learn how to properly plant trees and take home a tree of your own to add some greenery to your yard (limit of one tree per household and per property). The planting demonstration guides you through the planting process and our City Arborist will be available to answer any tree related questions you may have. Don't miss out on this chance to grow our urban canopy!
*Tree giveaway recipients must:
- Register for a "free tree" spot using this event page. If you do not want a tree and would like to attend the event, you do not need to register here. Please feel free to just show up and observe.
- Be a City of Glenwood Springs resident and own the property in which they wish to plant a tree.
- Attend the planting demonstration and sign a commitment to care form to ensure the proper placement and planting techniques are utilized to improve the likelihood of tree survival.
- Understand that trees are first come first serve. Tree species will be on display and attendees will sign in upon arrival and select one of the remaining available species.
