BirdSleuth Caribbean- Education Training Workshop
Learn how to teach about the importance of nature through the 'Birdsleuth' program!

This exciting two-day workshop will provide educators with the knowledge, skills, and materials needed to engage young people in the natural world and build their science skills through fun hands-on activities about our amazing birds.

The BirdSleuth curriculum is supported by a kit of materials for educators that contains all resources and materials needed for carrying out the lessons! This includes laminated bird silhouettes, games, field guides, binoculars, art and craft supplies, and much more.

Workshop Highlights:
- Learn all about amazing Caribbean birds - how to observe and identify them, the habitats they live in, their migratory journeys and much much more!
- Get your kids involved in citizen science and real data collection about birds
- Hands-on fun group activities and learning games for the classroom and field trips
- Fantastic resources for you to take away and use after the workshop
- Teachers will receive a certificate and teaching materials upon completion

Attendance is REQUIRED for the full extent both days as activities and lessons build upon each other. Additionally, there will be field components for which transportation will be provided.
