If you work in Jamaica's cultural and creative industries (CCIs), we want to hear from you!
Anything from film, TV, music, video games, heritage, and fashion, to design, writing, visual arts, theatre and more!
JBDC and UNESCO commissioned international creative industries consultancy, Nordicity, to continue our research into the impacts of the CCIs on Jamaica.
This research is collaborative and supportive of initiatives from colleagues and partners at the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport (MCGES), JAMPRO, Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), Kingston Creative, Entertainment Advisory Board (EAB), and more. It is integrated with other research such as the JBDC & British Council’s ‘Mapping Jamaica’s Cultural & Creative Industries’ report, EU 'Connect the Dots: Mapping Kingston's Networks of Culture' report and the JAMPRO 'Economic Impact Study For Jamaica's Film, Animation and Music Industries' report, and others. This new study delivers an economic framework for the whole cultural & creative industries of Jamaica, and provides another piece of the puzzle to help support the sector.
