DECODE 2017 is a multi-disciplinary conference, bringing together early stage researchers, students, professors, scientists, industry leaders, and government officials. Organized by the Institute of Integrative Biosciences at CECOS University, this promises to be a must-attend gathering for the biotechnology sector in Pakistan.

The conference will comprise of oral presentations, poster presentations, panel discussions, and a hackathon. Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations on cutting edge topics in life sciences. Due to the nature of the conference, it is pivotal that abstracts be of multi-disciplinary nature, involving molecular and translational studies. Some of the topics of interest include systems biology, synthetic biology, point-of-care diagnostics, personalized medicine, digital health, drug development, enzyme engineering, food security, metagenomics, and bioenergy.

Oral Presentation: Presentation must not exceed 10 minutes (7 minutes for your talk and 3 minutes for Q&A). You will be asked to provide your PowerPoint slides (if any) 5 days prior to the event.

Poster Presentations: Posters will be displayed as a portrait of approximately 2.5 ft. by 3 ft (W x L)

Deadline to submit your abstracts for consideration is 25th November, 2016.

Registration fees will be waived for the selected oral presentations.
