DofE Adviser workshop

This course is to induction new county advisers and update existing advisers and consists of an e-learning module & zoom session. This e-learning module needs to be completed prior to attending. 
Topics include: 
  • The DofE adviser role
  • Starting people on their DofE journey: promoting DofE & Top Awards, getting people registered, insurance, supporting programme choices and using eDofE.
  • The DofE sections and supporting inclusion
  • The Expedition section, registering expeditions and managing assessors
  • Signing off awards and celebrating achievement
  • Supporting completion of Scout Top Awards
  • Managing DofE provision: Training for leaders, DofE development planning, using eDofE to support completion of awards and next steps.
