Firestation in partnership with Destination Rotorua are looking for ten local established businesses with a track record of growth and a passion to accelerate even faster.

The Accelerate programme is designed for owners of established, medium size businesses that are profitable and scalable with an ambition to grow regionally, nationally or even internationally.  As a guide this programme is suitable for businesses with $500,000 - $10m in annual turnover and 5 -50 employees (although any business with exceptional growth potential will be considered).

Over six months selected Rotorua business owners will receive a unique blend of business training focused on accelerating their capability in sales, leadership, brand, planning, finance and developing a growth mind-set with professionally facilitated individual and group coaching sessions.

The overall the objective is to accelerate your current rate of growth.
 
Accelerate is generously subsidised thanks to funding from Destination Rotorua in recognition that these programmes make a real difference to local business communities. The retail cost of the programme is more than $3,000. 

Thanks to additional support from Firestation, Employers & Manufacturers Association BoP and Woods Brand Innovation, organisations that receive the subsidy will be able to participate in the programme for as little as $149+GST per month (conditions apply).

There are a limited number of SUBSIDISED ($149) placements. 

Alternatively organisations can guarantee a place by funding themselves through the programme with an investment of only $399+GST per month. This will not only confirm participation, it also means extended individual coaching time and a complimentary pod (desk) in the Firestation co-working space.

All participants receive complimentary use of Firestation meeting rooms for the duration of the programme.

Accelerate is predominantly facilitated by business growth expert Darren McGarvie, co-founder and chief coach at Firestation. Additional facilitation is provided by other organisations such as EMA and Woods Brand Innovation.

Participants receive a mix of professional coaching and business capability training with the focus on participants setting goals, implementing actions and increasing success through planning for growth. It teaches the importance of spending time working on the business and, after six months participants will walk away with a growth acceleration plan.
 
Accelerate includes:
  • 12 Mastery Modules providing training in brand, marketing, leadership, employment, etc. presented by experienced, local professionals recognised as leaders in their field.
  • 4 Group Review sessions with a facilitated discussion encouraging participants to share their challenges, celebrate their successes, and support each other.
  • 3 Individual Coaching sessions to set goals, actions and plans for business success.

The programme will commence in September 2017 and requires a time commitment of 2-3 hours per fortnight. Most sessions will be held on Thursday mornings.
