Thank you for your interest in helping move food around Haywood County. It is critical that we get food on the tables of our neighbors while also avoiding spoilage and waste. Some of the food coming into the county flows in regular, predictable ways and other times it shows up and we need to move it quickly. Understanding your interests, abilities, and limitations will help get you involved in a way that works for you.

You will be asked to move food between various agencies within Haywood County as well as to neighborhoods where food is directly accessed by residents.

* This initial effort is under the umbrella of Haywood's Outdoor Pantries. Once a volunteer base is identified and a system is created we hope that this effort will become part of a collaborative effort supporting and supported by the Haywood County Food Network.
