Join Leadership Raleigh as they work with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build 20 beds for kids that need them. All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Across the US, too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors. A disturbing new trend seems to be sleeping on pallets. We fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional, and mental support of children. The solution to the national crisis of bedlessness begins by involving community neighbor volunteers to build and deliver twin size beds or bunks to children in need. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need through organized community outreach.
