Mental Health First Aid Training Registration        
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a public education program for adults (18 years and above) designed to improve participants’ knowledge and modify their attitudes and perceptions about mental health. Aspire Health Alliance is proud to have certified instructors presenting Adult, Youth and Public Safety courses to the community, professionals and paraprofessionals. Mental Health First Aid participants learn to recognize signs of various mental disorders including; depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance abuse. The program also focuses on a 5-step process of responding to individuals experiencing an acute mental health crisis, for example: suicidal thoughts, self-injury, acute stress reaction, panic attacks, or psychotic behavior.

Led by Aspire Health Alliance licensed professionals.  Must be 18 years or older to register.

Mental Health First Aid Training
This course teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in adults. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.  PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND ALL THREE CLASSES TO COMPLETE CERTIFICATION.
