Michael (Misha) and Raquelle may be my new favorite couple in this series! Don't get me wrong, I still have a special place in my heart for Mac and Mara but there is just something so endearing about Raquelle (and her dog Titus) and the way Misha falls for her.
Raquelle is no stranger to hurt and betrayal and it takes a lot for her to open up and trust anyone, let alone a dark and dangerous man who she just met. But there is just something about MIsha that let's her open up to him. But as their relationship is just starting to develop Misha's dark past and family ties may destroy everything that they've built.
I love that this book incorporated all of the characters from the first two books, it was great to see Mara and Mac and Leigha and Dean again.

A sexy murder mystery I did not want to put down
A plot with two engaging characters, both with their share of baggage. A good foundation and background of the characters was great, I loved both of them. They had excellent chemistry and wonderful sexual tension. It was so hard to see the difficulties that Raquelle had to deal with to find the answers to her fathers death. She was put between a rock and a hard spot, a place she did not want to be. The emotional roller coaster kept me turning the pages to the end. This was very well written with an interesting and creative mystery plot. This is a stand alone book, the third of this series. It was well written, and that gave me an idea of the prior books, but I did not have to read those to follow along. It was clear the other two sisters had their stories, which I am looking forward to going back and read them as soon as I can. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.

WOWWW...WOWWWW.... what a beautiful ...heart wrenching end to the series !! and what a happy ever after... I feel like I need one more book to this awesome series ...need wedding action ...need to walk the aisle with Mara and Mac after their precious baby arrives ...but even more I need some more Raquelle and Misha action ..what a story !! what a page turner ...could not put it down... it would have been nice to see how Misha ends up with the ropes with Raq ...would he get his fill and not use the ropes anymore ??? Maybe time will tell us ...but that is not Kenzie's style ..I get it ..it's all about MBK and action !!! and I love it !!!

Masks is the third book in Kenzie Macallan’s Art of Eros series and features Racquelle, commissioned to paint a portrait of the CEO of a company with ties to her father’s unexpected death, and Michael Haines, who works at his father’s investment firm but takes the CEO position when his father disappears while the company is under investigation. Both of these characters have secrets but are instantly attracted to each other. This well written book has intriguing characters and a mysterious plot with strong emotions, deceit, betrayal, dark secrets, and sizzling chemistry. I highly recommend this romantic suspense.

Let me start off by saying that this is the third in a series and I have not read the first two. But, that did not take away from the story and I definitely want to go back and read all the books in order. I really enjoyed Raquelle and Misha’s story. Raquelle’s backstory, I’m sure, was developed in the first two books. This story seemed to focus more on the development of the hero’s character. Michael (Misha) Raines is the CEO of one of the top investment firms in New York City. Unfortunately, this 36-year old CEO is still firmly under the thumb of his father. Every morning Misha gets a call from his father telling him how to run the business. Misha is straining to break free of his father’s control and starts his rebellion in a very passive/aggressive manner. His father has been pestering him to have his portrait done so he hires relatively unknown painter Raquelle Luccenzo because he knows his father wouldn’t like her technique. Raquelle has her own daddy issues and is trying to step out from underneath the shadow of her famous artist father. To make her situation worse, she finds out that her father was murdered. In the course of trying to find out who murdered her father, Raquelle ends up spying on Misha to get information on what their fathers were mixed up in together. They both learn things about their fathers that they would have rather not known and Misha’s whole existence is knocked off its foundation.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this story greatly and am eager to go back and read the series from the beginning.

The author could not have picked a better title for this book, since we all hide behind a mask through life. Misha and Raquelle both had secrets and once the masks are peeled back it was amazing.
Misha lived his life being ruled by his father, now running his business with his father always in the background. Raquelle's life was similar. When these two characters are brought together the journey is hot, sexy and a train wreck just waiting to happen. That is what makes each chapter more a peeling and hot to put down.

Very well written Kenzie Macallan!
Now my curiosity is peaked and I will have to go back and read the first two books.

Raquelle and Michael (Misha) both have dark past. When she goes to meet him so that she could paint his portrait there is an heartfelt connection between them. His father has left him as the CEO to CZR investments but Misha is in the dark with some of the business his father is into. Raquelle's father has been killed and she thinks that Misha's father is involved somehow.
Will Misha and Raquelle find the answers to their questions?
With their attraction will they find their way to each other?
To find out these answers, you will just need to read this wonderful book.

I received an ARC of this book and am leaving my voluntarily and honest review.

I loved Raquelle and Misha’s story. Their interactions had me laughing, tearing up, and fanning myself. Raquelle trying to make her mark as an artist is determined to make it on her own instead of using her famous father’s name. Misha helps runs a company for his father who has his family in the dark about many things. What happens... you’ve gotta read it because I’m not spoiling it for you!!!

Raquelle is hired to paint a portrait of Michael. They strike up a friendship but she refuses to fall for him. Although the has other plans for her. But then she finds out his father is into some shady stuff and even possibly be behind the sudden death of her father. But Michael doesn’t know that his father is really a bad guy he only knows him as the overbearing controlling father. It’s an interesting story work a HEA ending.

Raquelle is a new up and coming artist. She is trying to get out from her recently deceased father. When gets commissioned by Michael Raines to paint his portrait it’s the beginning of the end. Her family finds out that the company Michael is the CEO of has ties to her father’s mysterious death. She goes to paint his portrait with plans to deceive him. What she doesn’t plan on is falling in love. Once I started Masks I couldn’t put it down. As the story unfolds and the secrets stated coming out it made it harder to put down. The emotion in this book felt so real. My emotions were all over the place. But it was defiantly happy and love I was feeling at the end. Definitely recommend this book!

Masks is the first book by Kenzie that I have read. I thought it was ok. I wish I would have read the two previous book's in this series. There is so much potential in this series. I wish it was written differently, more in the characters POV. Raquelle and Misha are one of kind.
