This survey is conducted by the Massachusetts Freedom of Information Alliance, which is working to reform the Massachusetts public records law. MassFOIA consists of the ACLU of Massachusetts, Common Cause Massachusetts, the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Newspaper Publishers Association, the New England First Amendment Coalition, and other like-minded organizations concerned about access to public records in Massachusetts.
