2015 Operation Back to School

Join USO-Metro for a fun day of back to school preparations! Operation Back to School is a one-day program for military children 5-12 years old held at Fort Belvoir and Fort Meade. Operation Back to School gets children excited about the new school year ahead with fun activities which incorporate core subjects such as reading, math, science, history, and art. After completing all class stations, children will receive a backpack stuffed with school supplies. Operation Back to School not only excites children about learning, but also assists with the costs of school supplies, which can often put a financial strain on a family, especially those with more than one child.

NOTE: This program is open to ALL branches of service, ALL ranks, and to ALL Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve families in our service area!

The event will be held at two locations from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
