Peoples Park Tower PSW Scholarship Application 2017

The Peoples Park Tower PSW Scholarship is intended to provide a student with a full tuition scholarship towards the Oulton College Health Care Support program.  This scholarship is being offered to address New-Brunswick industry need for Health Care Support/ Personal Support Worker (PSW) in the community and it also support with People Park Tower’s mission to provide “Client focused services that enrich the lives of seniors by promoting wellness, independence and social interaction”
 
Located in Moncton New Brunswick, Oulton College has been offering career-focused education to students from all across Canada since 1956. Oulton College offers training in four faculties: Health Science, Business, Human Services and Information Technology. With a student population of 700 and growing, Oulton College continues to offer a hands-on approach that helps graduates gain employment in their field of study.  In their effort to strengthen relationships with employers, Oulton is always seeking new partnerships to align with industry need and provide greater opportunities for students.



Peoples Park Tower Inc. has been Moncton’s retirement residence of choice for more than 40 years.  Mostly because they have been a leader in taking new and innovative approaches to retirement living that ensure the residents enjoy life to the fullest.  This time-honoured tradition is reflected in many ways. They have three locations; Peoples Park Tower (324 units), Camden Park Terrace (74 units) located in Moncton’s west end and Lakeview Tower (43 units) in Riverview on the banks of the Petitcodiac River.

Oulton College, and Peoples Park Tower invite you to apply for the Peoples Park Tower PSW Scholarship.  This scholarship will be awarded to one (1) deserving New Brunswick residents who demonstrate financial need and a passion for helping others in the community.  The chosen applicant will receive fully paid tuition to the Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) program at Oulton College (Moncton, NB) plus a practicum option with Peoples Park Tower.  

Want to apply? You must be:    

1. A New Brunswick resident.
2. Able to meet the required academic requirements of the Health Care Support Worker program at Oulton College.
3. Demonstrate that you are a community minded individual with a passion for helping others.

Applicants chosen for the second stage of the application process will be contacted. The second stage involves interviews and required references.

The chosen recipients of the Peoples Park Tower PSW Scholarship will be announced on August 18^th, 2017
