Growing Future Science Teachers in Maine - Application for Online Education Foundations Course (offered via Saint Joseph's College)
This form serves as the application for the opportunity to enroll in the online Educational Foundations (ED 100) course through Growing Future Maine Science Teachers/Saint Joseph's College Online Programs, sponsored by the National Science Foundation.  This course is offered at no cost to the participants.  Students at Biddeford, Bonny Eagle, Caribou, Fort Kent, Gray-New Gloucester, Lewiston, Westbrook, Windham High Schools are eligible to apply, as are high school students who are members of the Penobscot tribe (regardless of high school).  Selection to the program will be based on the student's level of interest in science and teaching, academic achievement, the desire to enroll a cohort representing a diversity of backgrounds and all partner schools, and nomination from a teacher/staff member.  There are 40 available spots.
