This camp will take place at Patricia K. Irvine-King Large Pavilion in Max Starcke Park at 1412 River Drive East.

Beginner Youth Pickleball Camp:

This three-hour long, three-day camp introduces your child to the basics of the game of pickleball and will lead into match play. Developing hand-eye coordination, familiarity with the paddle and the ball, footwork and pickleball specific movement through a series of exercises, drills and games. This camp will allow your child to be active and have fun with peers in a safe and encouraging manner.

Beginners Camp Dates: Monday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 12 from 8am-11am.



Advanced Youth Pickleball Camp:

This three-hour long, three-day camp advances your child’s skills and knowledge of the game of pickleball. This camp can be a follow-up to the Beginners Camp but attending the Beginners Camp is not necessary. This class will emphasize control of backhand and forehand groundstrokes, basic blocking, the overhead, and will offer introduction to dinking. This camp will provide opportunities to demonstrate mastery and growth in pickleball skills and abilities.

Advanced Camp Dates: Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10 from 8am-11am.

Camps will be led by a certified International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) level 2 instructor.

All equipment will be provided. Athletic attire required.

Pickleball has been described as a combination of tennis, badminton & ping pong. The game is easy to learn and tons of fun. This is an hour-long clinic that introduces your child to the basics of the game of pickleball and will lead into match play. Developing hand-eye coordination, familiarity with the paddle and the ball, footwork and pickleball specific movement through a series of exercises, drills and games.

Led by two (2) International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Certified Instructors. Must wear athletic closed-toe shoes. All equipment is provided for this clinic. Clinic is held at the Seguin-Saegert Pickleball Complex located at 418 W. Mountain Street in Seguin. There is no inclement weather day scheduled for this clinic.
