SheDecides is a global political movement driving change, fuelled by actions in communities, with young people at its heart. As a bold, progressive movement, SheDecides intends to push the boundaries of discussions around bodily autonomy, sparking conversations and political action to advance women and girls' rights.


This year, 25 years on from the landmark Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action which produced a blueprint for gender equality, the Generation Equality Forums in Mexico and Paris will evaluate how far we've come on that path and the gaps we still have left to fill for a gender equal world.


Through a virtual Art Gallery, SheDecides hopes to ignite conversations, connecting Art and Activism to raise awareness of bodily autonomy issues and to galvanise people to take action to advance gender equality through commitments around the Generation Equality Forum and beyond. This Gallery will host 25 artworks selected by a Curator panel from artists around the world. We are looking for talented artists to feature in this SheDecides Exhibition and we are welcoming artwork submissions from: Painters, Illustrators, Photographers and Filmmakers.


The SheDecides Virtual Art Gallery will be held 7 May-31 July 2021 and will be free and accessible to the public.
We want to feature artists whose work ignites conversations about women and girls' rights, highlighting issues such as: Bodily Autonomy, Gender Based Violence, Feminist Activism, Sexuality, Menstruation, Harmful Practices etc.


Selected artists will be offered a symbolic remuneration of $100 (per artwork featured) in appreciation for their collaboration with the SheDecides movement. The artwork will be hosted in the digital gallery from 7 May - 31 July 2021 and credited with an artist nameplate, a link to their portfolio/websites and, in some cases, a spotlight Q+A.
