AWB Highlights Top Employer Contributions
to Washington’s Quality of Life
AWB’s third-annual Evening of Excellence awards put a spotlight on
the positive impacts of great employers in our communities.
Andrew Lenderman
The 2018 Evening of Excellence featured an inspiring mix of entrepreneurs and legacy companies that are not only
creating jobs but making other positive contributions to Washington’s quality of life. These companies solve complex
problems, create more efficient processes and offer new opportunities for families and people facing challenges.
Starting a business can be a thankless job, with tremendous risks.
Entrepreneurs get up early, stay late, often risk their savings and
more to take an idea and create something special that works. And
maintaining this business over time carries its own challenges.
AWB created the Evening of Excellence to say thank you,
and to focus on the positive impact these companies make
across the state.
