One focus of the UPP party is Nation Building. MP Heyliger-Marten has picked up the initiative of former Minister of Education Dr. Rhoda Arrindell, who attempted to start the process of St. Martin developing its National Anthem in 2011.

This survey asks for opinions on a way forward, and shows the facts surrounding the process, while taking into consideration the affinity St. Martiners have with the ever popular hymn 'The St. Martin song' written and copy-righted by Father Kemps.
