On Friday, May 8, 2020 at 12:30pm, Santa Clara County Supervisors Cindy Chavez and Dave Cortese, together with the Office of the County Executive, cordially invite you to join a VIRTUAL event to celebrate the Topping Off of the Vietnamese American Service Center!

A Topping Off is traditionally held when the last beam is placed atop a structure during its construction. Although we are not able to gather, a link to access the event can be found at www.facebook.com/CountySupervisorCindyChavez

As we prepare for this milestone, we invite you to send us your name and our office will include them on the last beam as a symbolic gesture of your involvement in this building. Please provide us your name below to leave your lasting imprint. The deadline for a name submission is Thursday, May 7 at 1pm.

The Vietnamese American Service Center (VASC) has been in the works since 2013. It will be a 37,000 square foot “one-stop shop” for numerous County services that have been surveyed by community members as being critical and relevant to their well-being. This will be the first center of its kind in the nation to serve Vietnamese Americans and the latest manifestation of our County’s commitment to cultural competency, inclusion, and empathetic design centered around the client and not the provider.
