Defensive Training: This is a training event developed by PLL athletes to maximize growth and education for defensive players. Defensive training sessions focus on stick work, defending from all areas of the field, defending the two man game, off-ball play, communication and clearing, body positioning, speed and agility training, and shooting.    

Matt LandisAll-Star, 2 time NCAA defender of the year (William C Schmeisser award), 2 time all-American, 3 time all-conference, Notre Dame team captain.  

Where:
George Mason University West Campus, Field 3 - 4605 Rapidan River Road, Fairfax, VA 22030. 

When: Sunday, February 24th - Middle School: 12:00PM - 1:30PM - High School: 1:30PM - 3:00PM. 

Who: Session will be segmented by age-group, with high-school and middle-school groups competing separately. This will ensure an appropriate matching of skill. Players should have at least one year of playing experience, just so there is a foundation to build upon. Defensive training sessions are designed to help players of all skill levels improve, so don't worry about skill gaps or potential inexperience. We all share the common goal of improvement - regardless of our skill level today.
