As parents, we want to help our children succeed and be who they’re going to be in life. At the same time, it’s tempting to fall into the trap of believing that there is a narrow path to future success and happiness, and that the path must pass through the “right” college.

Join us in creating a community conversation about what messages we want our children to hear about their education and their lives, and how the intense focus on the college admissions process is affecting them. This spring, we will be reading and discussing Frank Bruni’s Where You Go Is Not Who You Are, which addresses these issues head-on.
