Dave Thompson, APR is a writer, media coach, strategic communications expert and word nerd. Dave has published a daily word Sudoku puzzle blog since 2008, exploring the surprises you discover when one word is hidden inside another. Hallowed be anagrams! Dave spent 20 years in TV News as anchor, producer and reporter and has worked as a public relations professional for hi-tech companies, start-ups and state government for almost 20 more years. Dave regularly lectures on crisis communications and media interviewing techniques; he’s a member of the PRSA-Oregon chapter team that helps communications professionals earn their accreditation in Public Relations; and he presents FEMA Basic Public Information Officer training at the state level. Dave earned a Master’s degree in computer science, a Bachelor’s degree in math and his accreditation in Public Relations (APR).
