Limestone Coast ac.care Showcase

Limestone Coast ac.care Showcase

Learn about ac.care's services and issues affecting our community's vulnerable people

Tuesday, May 16 | Mount Gambier City Hall | 5.30-7.30pm | Free public event

ac.care is focused on early intervention and prevention services, along with crisis support, to achieve our mission of ensuring all country people have safe homes, enough money to live on and strong, positive relationships.

You’re invited to learn more about our agency at the Limestone Coast ac.care Showcase on Tuesday, May 16, at Mount Gambier City Hall.

We hope you find this a valuable opportunity to learn about our diverse services, how they may support your work and clients and be inspired by our guest speaker.

Starting at 5.30pm with a Welcome to Country, the two-hour presentation will feature presentations from key staff about our services, issues affecting our region and how community support can increase our impact – we can achieve more to break cycles of disadvantage and support vulnerable people by working together.

The event will also feature guest speaker Love, Hope & Gratitude Foundation founder and domestic violence survivor Glyn Scott. After enduring a difficult upbringing and years of domestic violence and abuse, Glyn is determined to find a way to put an end to domestic violence and make a difference to the lives of other victims. Read more about her life story here.

Our event aims to inform and educate about ac.care's services and the region's social issues, as well as provide an opportunity for networking between the agency and key stakeholders.

This is a free, public event and there will be light refreshments.

Please register your attendance by 12pm on Friday, May 12 for catering purposes.

We would appreciate if you could please share this page with your networks so we can reach anyone who may be interested in the event and learning more about ac.care.

Attendees are warned this presentation will include discussion of family and sexual violence, which may be triggering for some people and not appropriate content for young children.
