Avenue of Flags

The Avenue of Flags is a display of state flags in the parking lot of the National Prisoner of War Museum, as well as hundreds of U.S. flags lining the roads of Andersonville National Cemetery. The Avenue of Flags reinforces patriotism and national pride with a visible, bold and proud display fo flags. This display occurs five times a year around special days of ceremonial significance: National Former POW Recognition Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; National POW/MIA Recognition Day; and Veterans Day.

You can see this display anytime during park hours - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. No reservations required.
