Thanks for your interest in our winter workshop! Taking place from December 16-20, 2019 at Dovercourt House, morning classes will explore each dancer's movement approach in connection with their environment, and afternoon sessions will focus on group explorations and the creative practice of working together.

PART 1)  10am-12pm

A contemporary-based class with a focus on the inhabiting of body and space.   An an opportunity to practice listening to sensation and playing with sequencing, weight and extension.  We’ll develop the partnership between experiencing movement internally while connecting with the environment in which we are moving.

PART 2) 12:30-2:30pm

The morning's discoveries will develop into a series of explorations that will build on interaction, responsiveness, collaboration, and the shared interests of the group over the course of the week.  **This is working on working together.**  Each day’s focus will be determined by the previous day’s work, following the fluid structure of a creative process.
