Join Black Scholars and Professionals Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. ET for a presentation by Dr. Flavia DeSouza, MD. She is a board certified psychiatrist and a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at Medstar-Georgetown Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division.  She is the co-founder of Rooted in Transitions, a social media psychoeducation project by Caribbean people for Caribbean people. Rooted in Transitions aims to decrease the mental health impact of the migratory transition to the United States. She was involved in InterVarsity as an undergraduate student and continues to be involved in InterVarsity's Black Scholars and Professionals Ministry.
