You may now have TWO (2) collections per year. One just for your bulky trash/recycle materials and one for green waste-only. We will collect them separately.
Please provide SPECIFIC details on the items you would like collected for Call 2 Haul. We will be in touch within 3 business days to schedule your pickup.
Call 2 Haul is for large bulk items. It is not for “whole house” clean-out projects, large construction, or large landscaping projects.
Accepted Materials:
• Large, bulky items such as furniture, mattresses, and appliances.
• Green Waste that is over 6 inches in diameter (tree limbs and branches). Limbs and branches must be cut to no longer than 5 feet in length to fit into our truck. Brush & Bushes (up to 5 feet long and 5 feet wide).
• Large volumes of small items. These can be disposed of through Call 2 Haul, but they do need to be in a box or bag, with a maximum weight of 60 pounds per bag or box. Otherwise, small, miscellaneous items should go into your weekly containers.
• Electronic waste such as TVs, computers, printers, office equipment, mobile phones, stereos, etc.
• Up to 4 automobile tires including bicycle tires and tubes
Call 2 Haul is not a "pile" program. Rather, it is for disposing of large, bulky items.
• Construction material, such as drywall, plaster, flooring, fencing etc. is not permitted.
• Loose, small items are not permitted unless bagged or boxed.
• Small bushes and brush should be cut and placed in the brown compost containers.
• No amount of dirt, sod, rocks, concrete or asphalt is permitted.
• Household hazardous waste, such as paints, pesticides, oil, fluorescent lights, batteries (except lithium-ion) and other chemicals are not permitted through Call 2 Haul.
• Flammable or explosive material, such as aerosol cans, gas cans, propane tanks, etc are prohibited. Call your local fire station for disposal information, or call the Salt Lake County Health Department at (385) 468-3862.
Neighborhood Group Scheduling.
• We will now allow up to 20 homes along the same street to request a collection.
• Pick a point person to contact our team, request the pickup, and help provide instructions to the participating neighbors.
• All participating house numbers must be given to our Call 2 Haul staff when scheduling..
• Choose either a bulk item pickup or a green waste-only pickup.
• Material set-out guidelines must be followed.
• Your items must be placed in front of your own home. No group piles are permitted.
When requesting a group collection on the form, in the "Items for pick up and Quantity" tab, note you would like a "group collection" and our Call 2 Haul scheduler will contact you to collect all the information.
