In Loving Memory of Carl

Our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell from this world, a true pioneer in the live music event community. Carl Monzo's huge heart and passion to give back left a lasting impression on anyone he came across. Carl is one of Positive Legacy's most generous supporters. Not just through monetary contribution but through his genuine interest in our organization, his team’s support on our Days of Service and his cheer for our personnel who implement the Positive Legacy projects. Positive Legacy, a nonprofit that utilizes music to benefit people and the environment, is an organization that Carl deeply believed in. His legacy will live on through the Positive Legacy services he supported and nurtured. We love you Carl and will think of you with every tree we plant, every student that smiles and every life we touch.

Another organization that was dear to Carl is WaterWheel. The WaterWheel Foundation was created in 1997 to oversee the charitable activities of the band Phish and their fan community. Through this unique partnership WaterWheel has raised funds for hundreds of nonprofits across the USA while supporting a wide variety of causes including environmental concerns with a focus on land conservation and clean water; social services with a focus on food insecurity, homelessness and healthcare for the needy, and social justice measures with a focus on voting rights. Carl always treated the WaterWheel staff and volunteers as integral players in Phish’s touring crew. He was a constant support at every fundraising event, lending his professional expertise as well as his calm and warm support. "There will be a huge void to fill without him on tour with us. We will miss him always."

Proceeds raised on this page will be split between the two organizations that meant so much to Carl. Your contributions in his honor are greatly appreciated!
