Athletic Committee
Serves as an advisory body to the PRCR Board. This committee offers input and perspective to Town of Cary Sports staff on policies, rules and issues related to sports programming and administration. This committee is made up of 10 regular members and 1 teen representative. A PRCR Advisory Board representative is assigned as the Chair and has full voting rights. A quorum is 6 members.

Cultural Arts Committee
Offers input and perspective on cultural services and programs, Cary cultural facilities' operations, and works with staff to review and recommend funding for local cultural groups through the annual grant program. This committee is made up of 9 regular members, 1 teen representative, and 1 Friends of Page-Walker representative. A PRCR Advisory Board representative is assigned as the Chair and has full voting rights. A quorum is 6 members.

Economic Development Committee
Considers economic development initiatives that fit within the Town’s approved economic development program that can be jointly implemented by the Town and Cary Chamber of Commerce. This committee is made up of 5 citizen regular members, 1 citizen alternate member, Chamber of Commerce President, Chamber of Commerce Chair, Town Manager or designee, Mayor, and 2 Councilmembers. A quorum is 6 members.
(Please note this committee meets four or less times a year unless assigned a specific project from council; citizens seeking monthly engagement with the Town are encouraged to apply for another advisory group.)

Environmental Advisory Board
Advises the Town in ways to reduce the use of and impact on our community’s natural resources through a comprehensive and continuous review of best practices and innovations. This board is made up of 9 regular members, 2 alternate members, and 1 teen representative. A quorum is 5 members.
