Louis Armstrong Society Jazz Band

Saturday, September 17, 2022, 7:00PM

The Louis Armstrong Society was formed in 2001 during the celebration of Louis Armstrong’s centennial birthday. The mission was simple: to share the legacy of great New Orleans jazz and the one-of-a-kind spirit of Louis with people around the world. That spirit was based on Louis’s perspective of life; although he played for kings and queens, heads of states, and crowds all over the world, he maintained a simple, joyous view of the world. Join us for this truly New Orleans show and hear the history of jazz through the eyes of Satchmo, while simultaneously enjoying the music that made him famous! The Louis Armstrong Society's "Salute to Satchmo" is a tribute to the life, music, and spirit of Louis. Click the picture to see the group in action!
