This course will provide you the knowledge on risk management and the safety management systems principles applied to continued operational safety (COS). You will also learn the COS requirements as well as COS processes to ensure safe operations after delivery. Aircraft certification and instructions for Continued Airworthiness will also be covered.

ICAO endorses the 2050 Vision for Sustainable Aviation Fuels as a living inspirational path and calls on States, industry and other stakeholders for a significant proportion of conventional aviation fuels to be substituted with sustainable aviation fuels by 2050 to reduce its CO2 emissions.

This course will provide you an in-depth review of the qualification process utilised to qualify renewable jet fuels. It will also cover the initiatives done to evaluate and approve alternative jet fuels, unleaded aviation gasoline and propulsion lubricants. Recent aviation fuel quality control service issues and the industry/government approach to management, storage and handling of new fuels will also be covered.  

Personnel handling the certification procedures and policies for fuel lubricants from civil aviation administrations, airlines, original equipment manufacturers, airports and environmental agencies are encouraged to attend.
