French Speak Retreat Your stylish French language immersion experience

Just picture this in your mind for a minute:

A small village in the south of France, in picturesque Provence

A small group of self-confessed France addicts (just like YOU)

The smell of hot baguette and croissants emanating from a nearby boulangerie, whilst you’re learning to order your pain au chocolat at the café with confidence

Just before a delightful walk through the gorgeous and colourful food market stalls.

If that image makes your heart sing… Read on... you are in for a treat!

Here are the 3 reasons to come to France with me

1. Live like a true local with a local.

Although I moved away from that beautiful part of the world to settle down on Australian shores, my family still lives there.

Provencal Village

When talking about “living like a local’, I mean that you’ll be able to benefit from a strong network of insider connections.

When I started telling my French friends that I was visiting with a handful of Australian adult students, they loved the idea of opening their homes. As you might know already, French people are full of pride for their country.

We like to stay off the beaten track and away from the 5-star hotels. This give our travellers the chance to see ‘behind the curtains’ and get some insight into real French life. French people are very proud of their language and culture and you will be welcomed with open arms.

This experience is just like visiting old friends who live in a different part of the world. I cannot wait to take you around the area for those few days. We’ll be sharing our lunches wherever we visit on that particular day and we'll also enjoy a few gastronomic dinners together – including a mouth-watering restaurant dinner in glitzy Cannes!

2. Put away that guide book and close the dozen internet browser tabs.

It’s time to experience the amazing life Provence has to offer without having to Google the ‘Top 10 things to see and do in Provence’.

These less-travelled spots are amazing and won’t be easily found on the Internet. The locals love to keep quiet about their favourite spots so it’s lucky you’re in the inner circle!

Pain et Vin... Bread and wine in perfect harmony!

I get that planning your dream holiday can get stressful. But that stress kind of defeats the purpose of a relaxing holiday, don’t you agree?

Planning your ultimate trip doesn’t have to mean spending hours on the internet, feeling overwhelmed and confused, or elbow-deep in travel guide books full of dog-eared pages and highlighted paragraphs. And that’s even before you have your first night’s accommodation organised!

3. The wonderfully and carefully planned fun-packed program

The whole experience will be structured around:

  • Lots of opportunities for enriching language learning with teachers and native speakers in a real life setting
  • Mornings, Afternoons or Full days filled with cherished experiences and memorable outings
Oil painting class for beginners (during a previous trip)

Together we will share memorable moments tasting wine, visiting local châteaux, learning about perfume making, shopping in Cannes, trying our hand at an art class and discovering hidden culinary talents during a French cooking class.
