Symposium: Hip Hop, Race, Education Event, & Film
Please join us in the University Library for a special event on Symposium: Hip Hop, Race & Education with Keynote Speaker Dr. H. Samy Alim Professor & David O. Sears Presidential Endowed chair of Social Science at UCLA. Panel Presentations by undergraduate and Graduate Students and faculty of CPP on the intersection of Hip Hop, Race and Education.

This Event will be take please on Thursday, February 8th from 12pm-5pm, Building 15 University library, 3rd Floor in the grand reading room. There will  lunch and refreshments. You don't want to miss out, please register Here!

In addition please Join us for the screening of the film and discussion that will take a deeper look at masculinity and manhood in rap and hip-hop, misogyny, violence and homophobia, and commerce. Guided discussion by Dr. Analena Hope Hassberg. This will also take place in the grand reading room from 10am-12pm.
