2013 JBLC ELECTION NOTICE

Attention All Lifeguards!

This is an Election Year!
All Executive Board positions are up for election.
If you are considering running for office in the Jones Beach Lifeguard Corps
(JBLC) Chapter of the New York State Lifeguard Corps (NYSLC) you must
submit your Nominating Petition no later than at the July 11, 2013 Beach Rep
Meeting.
Nominating Petitions can be downloaded from JBLC.net.
Ballots completed before that date may be given to your Beach Rep for filing at
the July 11th meeting; or, you can show up and file it personally.
The July 11th meeting will be held at 150 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Suite 306
at 7pm.
You are encouraged to submit a brief biography (max 250 words) along with
your nominating petition.
The biography will be posted on all JBLC Social Media.
Additional distribution of personal election information is up to you.

Every beach must elect a Beach Representative and Alternates
to represent their interests at the monthly Beach Representative
Meetings.
You must print out the petition!
Nominating petitions may be downloaded from

Completed petitions must be submitted at the
July 11, 2013 Beach Representative Meeting.
The July 11th meeting will be held at the NYSUT offices located
at 150 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, Suite 306, Hauppauge, NY
11788 @ 7pm.
IMPORTANT:
You must be a member of NYSUT to serve as a Beach Rep.
or an Alternate Beach Rep. and to sign the nominating
petition.
