Welcome
We are pleased to formally announce that Newington Public Schools officially moved its email and calendaring services for students in Grades 5-12 over to the Google (Gmail) platform on March 23, 2020 and all staff on May 26, 2020. The G Suite for Education platform will eventually become the District's official and preferred productivity tool set for instruction and communications. When we eventually move staff over also, the transition will unlock additional tools within Google Classroom for improved communications between our staff and students.
This site is a resource to anyone who is getting started with Gmail and Google Calendar at work. In our case, we switched over from Microsoft Outlook, but we are pretty sure that even proficient or experienced users will find new things to learn here here when it comes to getting the most out of these fantastic Google productivity tools.
You will notice that the site is broken up by product to make it easy and quick for you to find exactly what you're looking for. Each topic has a Videos & Tutorials section and an Instructional Documents section to accommodate all kinds of needs and learning styles. You will notice there are pages devoted to the following items:
