Back to School Fundraiser for Underprivileged Children
It has been a tradition at St. William Church in Round Rock to provide school supplies for children in Brownsville in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Texas. This effort is led by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court 2415, in partnership with Proyecto Juan Diego in Brownsville.
We used to collect supplies at church, and the Catholic Daughters transported them to Brownsville. In 2020, due to the pandemic, we held an online fundraiser instead. This turned out to be an even better way for us to help! Your financial donations go directly to Proyecto Juan Diego in Brownsville and the needed supplies are then purchased in bulk. Let's do it again! The children are counting on us.
