Project C3Fire Sign-Up
We are seeking new participants for research to investigate action teams, leaders, and multiteam systems (teams of teams) in challenging environments and we need your help! We are recruiting participants for our interactive firefighting simulation called Project C3Fire! First you will complete a 30 minute online survey at your leisure before you come in to the ATLAS Lab to participate in our in-lab team task (approx. 2 1/2 hours) called Project C3Fire

After ten minutes of training on the C3Fire software, you will spend 90 minutes collaborating with seven other participants, managing a firefighting simulation, and answering survey questions. You will be part of the C3Fire Task Force and command either firefighting, logistics, information or rescue units in the simulation. Your goal as a team will be to battle fire and rescue as many people as possible. The firefighting simulation is often used as a training tool for teams from military, NASA and others.

You will receive a $30 gift card for the completion of the whole experiment.

The lab is located in Room 1-220 in the Frances Searle Building (2240 Campus Drive).

It is imperative that, if you commit to our study, you arrive on time because we can only conduct the study if we have a complete team of 8 people. If not all participants show up, the firefighting simulation  cannot take place.  If you show up for the firefighting simulation but not enough other people show up for the simulation to take place,  you will receive  $10 for the time you spent filling out the online survey, and  you will be able to reschedule and participate in another in-lab session to receive another $20 gift card.

Eligibility: Registration is open to anyone 18 years of age or older who is enrolled in a college-degree seeking program or has completed a college degree.
If you are enrolled in a class in which Professor DeChurch is the instructor, participating in this study is not part of the course activities. If you prefer not to participate in this study, your decision will not affect  your grades in any way or  disadvantage you in any other way.

Please forward this to any Northwestern students you think may be interested in participating!
