Understanding the Science of Reading Grades 3-5

Do you know what the Science of Reading is? What does it mean to you? What does it look like as a successful model in your upper elementary classroom? This PD session will explore the Science of Reading principles and apply that knowledge to your current teaching practices. Tap into over 20 years of research on how the brain learns to process written language and how important it is to teach reading and writing systematically, intentionally and explicitly. Join us for rubust discussions, Q and A, and networking with accomplished and reflective educators around effective reading and writing practices in your upper grade classroom.
