It fits in your pocket but you play it in the Real World!
Put the game table anywhere and MOVE to hit the puck and launch fireballs!
SCOAAR is a Multiplayer AR Air Hockey game where you move your game piece by moving in the real world. The faster you run – the stronger you hit your piece.
If you hit really strong – you collect energy. Energy creates fireballs that you can launch at your opponent, shrink their puck and increase your chance of scoAARing.
Launch the fireballs with your hand like a magician!
The game table appears as it really is on the floor of your room and the movements of the puck and game pieces are perfectly synced between the devices. The unique real-world game control truly immerses you into the game.
Before two players start the game, another person can join in as spectator and view the drama in AR.
To play SCOAAR all you need is a well-lit free space and a game partner.
The effect of “real” comes when you see your opponent’s face when you throw a fireball at them and score.
SCOAAR feels the best on new devices with A13 Bionic that fully reveal the immersive power of AR with People Occlusion feature. Just start the game and bring your hand in front of the camera to see the true magic.

Bugs
This game is trash every time I move my device Side to side
nothing happens. I’ll give you advice before you launch the game you should test and if there’s somthing wrong fix it.
A real AR game
Many people claim that Pokémon GO is the number 1 example of an AR game but I would argue with that. You only use the AR features in Pokémon GO for a few seconds at a time - a few times a day.
By contrast SCOAAR is an all-in AR experience that is not only super engaging but it really gives you a work out (at least if you’re trying to win!)
You can play SCOAAR in an office, the yard or just about anyplace you have a small flat area clear of objects. When you launch the app it is quick to start a game with a friend and get going - there is very little setup and the gameplay is really intuitive. There are of course discoverable features and game playing techniques that you will learn over time - this makes taking a break from your desk every day and getting the blood flowing rewarding in multiple ways.
I have a lot of fun playing SCOAAR with my coworkers and friends. I can’t wait to see the next game from forwARdgame.
Lots of work to be done
If this worked the way it’s advertised, this game would be awesome. The design in shotty, the set-up is difficult, and the gameplay is frustrating. I know we’re still in the beginning stages of AR and the game doesn’t cost money (thank god) but there are so many bugs to fix here. Looking forward to playing the final product some day!

We improved the setup and stability, just make sure the room is well lit and the floor has pattern and both players stand next to each other during the setup.
