Singing Teacher

Growing up in a musical family in the USA, Erin studied a variety of instruments beginning with piano at age 4. Singing in elite audition choirs from age 7 through university, and studying classical voice under the tutelage of Mark Sheffield during the 00's solidified the mesmirising human voice as Erin's favourite instrument.

With a heart for and experience with building confidence in students facing challenges such as ASD, dyslexia, ESL, anxiety, or behavioural issues, she is excited to work with a variety of needs. She has also completed a Vocal Health First Aid course. Bespoke lessons apply classical concepts of how to use "the instrument" naturally to prevent injury and enable lifelong singing.

Having left a career in Astrophysics, Erin teaches guitar and piano in addition to voice, and performs original material as singer-songwriter Aerynn.  Festival appearances include Middlewich Folk and Boat, Leek Arts Festival, Dublin's YouBloom, and Macclesfield's own Barnaby Festival.
