The Queer Author’s Guide To Young Adult Publishing: Naomi Kanakia goes beyond the usual “write hard, read widely, never give up” advice to share valuable tips on what it takes to get published as a debut author.
Naomi Kanakia is the author of two YA contemporary novels, including We are Totally Normal. Naomi has books forthcoming from HarperTeen, Feminist Press, and Princeton University Press. She lives in San Francisco with her wife and daughter.
This event will be held at the Central Recreation Center, located in Central Park, San Mateo in activity room A from 12:00 - 12:45. Naomi will be available to sign books at the Peninsula Library System Pride tent from 1:30 - 2:00.
