We protest the building of a bus route and car park on a designated wildlife corridor in east Reading along The Thames, across Kennetmouth (crossing from Wokingham into Reading) and through the Coal Woodland.
Insufficient studies have been considered for alternative traffic solutions, the car park will be too close to town to be effective in reducing traffic in the area and the enormous loss of open space and over 100 trees cannot be justified.
We believe the £31.5 million could be put to much better use, through improving existing facilities.
Don't trash the Thames.
