March 9: Oyster Shucking Contest at Muddy Murphy’s
An annual tradition, Muddy Murphy’s Irish Pub will be holding its oyster-shucking contest the week before St. Patrick’s Day on March 9, 3pm. Catch 16 chefs race against time to shuck 30 oysters. The winner will represent Singapore in the World Oyster Opening Championship in Ireland! There’ll also be live entertainment by Gan Ainm from 5pm. March 14-16: The Singapore River One St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival
Celebrating all things Irish, the St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival will kick off on March 14 with traditional and contemporary Irish music, street performers and buskers. Find the full list of activities available here.
March 15: St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl
This St. Patrick’s Day, join in fellow party-goers and bar-hop across the best Irish pubs in Singapore in an open-top party bus! Enjoy drink specials at three Irish pubs, with the party ending at a club (venue is kept secret until the event). Tickets are priced at $45 per person; $200 for a group of five. March 16: St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Free for all to participate, participants at the parade will march from the Asian Civilization Museum to Circular Road, whereby the annual street party will begin at 5pm with refreshments and live entertainment. More details here.
March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Mulligan’s
Soak in the fun and atmosphere as you boogie along with Acoustic Trip, Trisnotrio and Irish dancers. Take part in activities such as hotdog eating competitions and boot races.
