There are over 200 stocks in the Philippine Stock Exchange. Knowing what stocks to pick and why you pick them will help you in your stock market venture.  The module will tackle how you can select stocks based on where the economy is headed, it will also teach you how to select stocks based on which sector and industry is doing well.  The module will also teach you how to analyze a company using both qualitative and quantitative analysis along with ratio analysis.

The module will help you select companies that are profitable, liquid, cheap, leveraged, and has a good source of cash flow.  

Fundamental Analysis 2: How to Compute for the Fair Value of a Stock

Taking the Warren Buffet approach on selecting good and growing companies. How can you compute for the fair value of a stock that is following this characteristics? Learn to compute the values on your own by using a variety of mathematical methods.  The computation of the Fair Value of the stock would be based on stocks that have passed the criteria for companies that have durable competitive advantage.

The session would be workshop type which would allow the attendees to compute for the values themselves based on their own timeframes and holding period.   This would let you know if the stock that you are buying is undervalued and should be bought or is the stock already overvalued and should be avoided.
