ළමා අයිතින් සුරකින්නට නීති රීති මෙන්ම ඒවා ක්‍රියාවේ යොදවන්නට ආයතන තිබුණද තවමත් දිනකට සැලකිය යුතු දරුවන් ප්‍රමාණයක් හිංසනයට පත්වේ. ශාරිරික දඩුවම් සහ ලිංගික අපයෝජන පිළිබද බොහෝ දෙනා අතර අවබෝධයක් තිබුණද කොන්කිරීම,නොසලකා හැරීම වැනි මානසික දඩුවම් ගැන ඔබ නොදන්නවා විය හැක.

කායිකව සහ මානසිකව සිදුවන මේ සියල්ල දරුණු ළමා හිංසන වන අතර ඒවා විදින දරුවන්ගේ අනාගතය සුභ දායක නොවේ. මොනයම් ආකාරයක හෝ හිංසනයකින් දරුවා කම්පනයට පත්වන අතර නොමැකෙන කැලැල් ඉතිරි කරයි. දරුවා පීඩාවට ලක්වන්නේ පිටස්තරයෙකුන්ම පමණක් නොව දෙමවුපියන් විසිනුත් දැන හෝ නොදැන සිදුවිය හැක. දරුවාගේ ඕන එපා කම් නොසලකා හැරීම, ඔවුන් කෙරෙහි අඩු අවධානයක් දැක්වීම ඔවුන්ගේ සිත් දරුණු හා සසල වන අවස්තාවන් වලට පත් කිරීම හා ඔවුන් නොවටිනා මෝඩයෙකු බවට වැටහීමට ඒත්තු ගැන්වීම යනාදී කරුණු තුළින් දරුවා නිවස තුළ හිංසාවට ලක්වන වාර අනන්ත වේ.

සියලුම ආකාරයේ ළමා හිංසන හා නොසලකා හැරීම ජීවිත කාලය පුරාම දරුවෙකුට ඍජු හෝ වක්‍ර අන්දමින් බලපානු ලබයි.

බුද්ධිමත් වැඩිහිටියන් ලෙස මේ දැනුවත්ව තීරණයක් ගන්නට හොදම මොහොතයි.සියළු ආකාරයේ ළමා හිංසන වලක්වන්ට කැප වෙමින් දරුවන්ට සුව පහසු ලෝකයක් තනන්ට අත්වැල් බැද ගනිමු.

දැයේ සියලු දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් ඒ යුතුකම ඉටුකරන ඔබේ ප්‍රතිඥාව සනාථ කරන්න,මෙම ඔන්ලයින් පෙත්සම අත්සන් කර ඔබේ දායකත්වය ලබාදෙන්න.

A significant number of children continue to face abuse on a daily basis despite sufficient laws and regulations to protect children’s rights, and institutions that put such laws into practice.

Many are widely aware of physical and sexual abuse against children, but the question remains if there is just as much awareness one motional harassments such as ignoring and neglecting of children.There maybe many who may not be aware of these and may not know that such physical and mental harassments are critical and life-threatening child abuses.

Children who are subjected to abuse often have an unstable future. Such adverse experiences can leave indelible scars.Neglecting a child’s needs, failing to provide sufficient attention, breaking the child’s confidence and treating them as fools are some of the ways in which a child may be abused at home by parents or external parties.

All types of harassments and neglect affect children both directly and indirectly throughout their lives.  As intelligent adults, let us now make a decision to join hands to build a better world for our children.
